Forget the $100,000+ luxo-barge G wagens full of tufted leather with a special fragrance atomizer in the glovebox that have become commonplace on American roads, this is what the Steyr-Damiler-Puch engineers in GRaz, Austria had in mind when the designed the G Wagen!
This Ex-Swiss Army G Wagen was imported to the U.S. in 2022 and is titled as a 1993 Mercedes with a clean, Pennsylvania title.
This rig is equipped with roll up windows and a great heater, there is no A/C. The top can be rolled up or removed completely. Additionally, the back window rolls up as does the soft-windowed partition between the driver’s compartment and the rear compartment.
The rear door is equipped with a spare tire and a ‘jerry can’ is affixed to the outside rear of the truck. A filler nozzle for the jerry can is stored in the cab, behind the seats.
Fold-down rear seats are green vinyl.
