4 owners from new – originally purchased by actor Charlie Sheen in July of 1994 in Thousand Oaks, CA.
This Porsche 928 GTS has service records going back to its second owner in 2004. Records indicate this car has had huge amounts of regular maintenance performed over the years by several rather “O.C.D.” owners. There are two binders full of receipts and records that include all the upkeep and maintenance you’d expect (and want) to see adding up to tens of thousands of dollars.
A PPI was performed by Auto Edge, Porsche specialists in Mahtomedi, MN before the car was shipped out to Tobin Motor Works in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate, New York. Various things were recommended as a result of that PPI and all were completed for a total cost of almost $4,000. Work included:
Oil and filter change
Brake fluid flush
Rear hatch lock / latch replacement
Replacement of both front shocks
4 Wheel alignment
Exhaust system repair work was recommended and performed by Tim’s Custom Exhaust in Coon Rapids, MN.
The interior of the car is extremely clean. Leather is in great shape. A complete, new carpet kit was installed during the Summer of 2019.
Our research indicates that just 139 Porsche 928 GTS models arrived in the U.S. for the 1994 model year, 95 of which were equipped with automatic transmissions, making this one of just 44 examples from the 1994 model year with a 5 speed manual transmission.
